    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course as a refresher course before college algebra. If you are not so talented in math, or your math skills are poor, this course will really help you.

    Course highlights:

I was an awful math student, I never could understand anything taught to me, but then I joined the ALEKS website, and it was a great help. I gained better critical thinking skills and I learned new math tricks, so now I could do mental math quick and easy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete the homework and ask questions during lab because the leaders are excellent at explaining and demonstrating topics.

    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He puts students down and makes them feel as if they are worthless making them less incurred to participate, causing him to get even more mad saying we should know it when we don't. When we ask for him to explain something he makes it more complicated and when we are lost he says he is a good teacher and he just explained it on the board.

    Course highlights:

I learned basic algebra and how to work with a difficult teacher.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be prepared for a difficult professor if you can switch out if you cant just learn on your own.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It gets you back in the zone to get ready to learn Algebra again and resets the foundation you learned in high school to prepare you for College Algebra.

    Course highlights:

My professor was amazing! She go over my scratch work to tell me what I did wrong (to take the load off, I'd go over it myself and circle what I did wrong and write notes next to it). The ALEKS program was also extremely helpful! Never be afraid of ALEKS because if you don't pass the final in your math course, ALEKS is your saving grace.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO YOUR ALEKS HOMEWORK! No slacking, I mean it! You can have a B and your ALEKS will put you at an A!
