    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am not a math person what so ever so I started with intermediate algebra and to refresh my memory of some topics and Professor Budkie was one of the best math professors I have ever had,

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of math again and it was a really great intro to the college algebra.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the ALEKS homework and take advantage of going over the quizzes and exams with the professor.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it only if you are the person to follow through with homework. If you dont finish homework on time or dont do it at all, you wont learn anything in the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I can basically teach myself math, I only had one lecture a week and more than 20 different topics to learn and do homework for, so do to that we wouldnt learn everything in class, therefore you had to teach yourself most of the information

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework not the night before its due!!!!! Too many topics to retain for just one night of studying.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course as a refresher course before college algebra. If you are not so talented in math, or your math skills are poor, this course will really help you.

    Course highlights:

I was an awful math student, I never could understand anything taught to me, but then I joined the ALEKS website, and it was a great help. I gained better critical thinking skills and I learned new math tricks, so now I could do mental math quick and easy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete the homework and ask questions during lab because the leaders are excellent at explaining and demonstrating topics.
