    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only did it teach me more about the United States government, it allowed me to interact with other political views in a safe, accepting environment. It made me think, it challenged my beliefs. I changed, grew, and became a better person. I hold great respect for the teacher, and would recommend the class to anyone who enjoys debates or politics.

    Course highlights:

You will learn about the United States government branches, the Supreme Court, many amendments, and everything in between. You will be frustrated with what you do not know, you will be stressed with studying for the test, and you will hate the lame jokes that are made in class. You will have debates, you will laugh, and you will have fun. It is quite possibly the greatest class I've taken at MHS.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work. Study for the AP Test. Participate in the debates. Don't talk when Mr. White is talking.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course if you love history, especially European history. The class is very informative and fun, and it also helps you prepare for college level classes.

    Course highlights:

We learned the major aspects and events of European history, from the Mideval Era to modern times.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Your must keep up to date on your homework and reading your textbook. It's also good to have a binder, as you will get a lot of worksheets and papers during this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took AP U.S. History at our high school last year and it was an incredible class.

    Course highlights:

We took a class trip to Gettysburg and that was really fascinating to me, I really enjoyed learning a lot down there and seeing the sights and some of the monuments and museums.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to work hard and try and enjoy learning the information, because it is usually very exciting.
