Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Sparks is such a phenomenal teacher! Students can really tell that she puts a lot of care and effort into her job, and it really makes an impact on the her students. Some kids had not taken a chemistry course prior to taking AP Chem, but they still succeeded with guidance and assistance from Ms. Sparks. She makes kids feel comfortable in the classroom, even when they answer a question incorrectly. There are so many different traits that I could discuss about her, but that would take about 3 pages so I won't do that. I personally found the subject material interesting, since I am going to major in chemical engineering, but the primary reason as to why I would recommend this course is the teacher, Ms. Sparks.

    Course highlights:

I learned so many things in that class I honestly do not know what to put here. I was able to explain everyday phenomena to my friends and family in a way that left them stupefied and as a result, boost my self-confidence. I learned how to write "proper" labs through MANY different tries, which I know will definitely help me in the future with various science classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise going to office hours if you are having trouble with material and/or reading about it online or in your textbook. You will also most likely need to study for the tests and exams in this class, and do any extra work you feel you need to do in addition to your assigned homework.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I got a ton out of the class and accomplished things I never thought I could do.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was realizing my potential. Sparks helped me learn that I can do really well in anything if I apply myself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do what Sparks says, it's easier.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Great class with a great teacher. You walk out of the class knowing chemistry inside and out. You feel very confident when it comes around to the AP test. Rather work intensive, but worth it all around. Quite possible the best class I have ever taken.

    Course highlights:

Ms. Sparks teaches more than chemistry, but also incredibly important study strategies and time management you learn no where else in school that may be more valuable to most then that of the chemistry itself.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put in the work, but what you put in you will walk out with ten-fold.
