Great Intro to the Subject

This course allowed students to build off of communication skills in a way that embodied the "Learn by Doing" motto. It's hard to get hands-on experience with subjective classes in the liberal arts colleges, but this course really gave students a feel to what debate and good research can do for students in the professional world.
I learned how to be a better speaker. We had debates every class so we were essentially forced to get over any fear of speaking in front of an audience we had.

Be confident in your abilities. When you're up there debating, the best thing you can do is believe in what you're saying even if it makes no sense.
