Pretty easy, overall.
I'm an electrical engineering major, and this course, though a GE, helped expand my career choices. This course had a wide variety of topics - from food and culture to environment.
The best parts were the specific examples the professor gave about the research he's done. I learned about the changing roles people have played with the environment, food, and with each other.

Go to lecture, he's got a lot of things to say that aren't necessarily on the slides, but are really interesting. Don't be afraid to ask questions and get a discussion started.
