    | Would recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    It's a required class for Nutrition/Food Science majors, and a GE for those who are interested. Pretty basic course on vitamins, body systems and health.

    Course highlights:

    It's interesting to learn how food moves through the body, though a more in-depth review of these processes are detailed in Nutrient Metabolism I and II. Additionally, the class projects of diet analysis and meal planning were interesting and gave insight on career tasks in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    It's helpful to have a little background on diets and health in general. You will have to memorize a lot of information for vitamins/minerals, such as toxicities, deficiencies, diseases, etc.
