    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class has been extremely eye-opening. Pete has a very unique teaching style which requires a lot of at-home learning. Basically, the key to doing well in this class is putting a lot of time and effort into learning the topics outside of class. If you are willing to do this, then you'll do fine! Unfortunately, many students in my class just do not have enough time or motivation to do this much work outside of class and because of it their grades are suffering. Overall, I really appreciate this style of active learning and hope to continue this in future classes.

    Course highlights:

Personally, I think Physics is super interesting to begin with, but the way Pete teaches it makes it even more fun. He is constantly bringing in all kinds of equipment to help us better understand certain aspects of Physics. Studying architecture, I didn't realize how relatable mechanics would be to my major. I now realize physics can be related to almost every aspect of life.

    Advice for students:

I think the key thing to know before going into this course is that you get out what you put in. Pete does not grade any of the homework he assigns but he does collect it and give feedback so I strongly recommend completing it. Also, it is important that you put in the time to learn the material and truly understand it.
