Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Cushing comes off as pretty eccentric, and he rambles on about things that seem rather irrelevant; however, I learned much more than I expected in his class, and it has helped me connect the ideals and customs of the Greeks to current literature, while also applying it to my own life.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed listening to the presentations by students because it allowed me to see others' thoughts and conclusions about the literature, seeing how they compare and contrast with my own. It made me think of things I did not at first see.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As hard as it might be, pay attention to his tangents. They tell you what to be looking for in the works and the kinds of things to watch out for in quizzes, as well as the midterm and final papers.
