    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course itself already contains a large amount of confusing subjects for somebody that has never taken a chemistry course before, and on top of that, Fogle's teaching style can be confusing and hard to follow at times.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on topics such as kinetics, equilibrium, electrochemistry, and solubility.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not understand something that is being taught, make sure you go to office hours or get outside help as soon as possible. Topics in this class tend to build on each other so not understanding one subject will doom you for the rest of the course.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is not a bad teacher per se, but sometimes he gets off track. He also gave us practice problems which he would then figure out that some of them were impossible to solve. Personally, I didn't mesh with his teaching style.

    Course highlights:

I reinforced the idea that chemistry is not my strong suit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a workshop as well if it is offered. Ask other students or even other teachers for help/clarifications if needed.
