    Course Overview:

    This professor would rather have you learn hand on experience about marketing than have you read a book and take a test. It really helps you to prepare for real life situations.

    Course highlights:

    The group project we did was fun and helped me learn about marketing. Marketing is hard because its deeper thinking and you have to go beyond just a brand's name. The project helps you identify a brand's personality, consumers, and what they stand for.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    AS long as you do the work given to you, you will get an A. Tests are take home and the professor gives feedback on every part of the project before the due date.

    Amazing professor she really cares about you learning the material. The class itself is very interesting as well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    This course is an overview of some of the basic components of marketing such as types of competition, ethics, differentiation, etc. This professor has worked with some of the world's top brands such as Colgate, so she definitely knows what she is talking about.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot of the major methods and tactics marketers should know, pay attention in this class if that is your major since all of the subject matter comes up again later in your courses.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class; she goes into detail about the things she puts in the slideshows she presents. They really help on the tests. There is a huge group project used as your final grade, so make friends and find out who is reliable.
