Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course to learn about the way humans function and interact and also delves into the deeper meaning of the purpose we have as a whole. This really answers a lot of questions about how we function as society and what causes disorders and the different perspectives of how life is ran.

    Course highlights:

The way we were taught was excellent whether it be through fun activities or open ended inquiries asked by the teacher. The class was kept on its toes and there was never truly a dull moment for me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need need need to study the vocabulary and overall subjects as it is a challenging course. What helped me the most was making flashcards on the quizlet website and testing myself every week.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because although it is a lot of work, it prepares you for college really well. While the teacher does an excellet job explaining the material to you, you must take time to study so you know the material and you are not just memorizing definitions. The tests are not simply words and defintions, you must know the meaning of terms and be able to apply them to real life senarios.

    Course highlights:

I gained a ton from this class. I gained the study skills Also you gain the knowledge of the material. The whole class is basically about why people do the things that they do. I found this class very interesting because you could apply everything you learn to real life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend making flash cards!! Making flash cards for the terms will make studying so much easier for you. Also make sure you study for a small amount of time every day instead of cramming the day before because you'll remember the material way better. Lastely I highly recommed taking the AP exam, if you study hard throughout the duration of the class you will do well on the test. Scoring good on the test will earn you college credits which will save you time and money!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has allowed me to understand people's behaviors in a much deeper way. I am now more patient, as I recognize that we sometimes can't control everything we do. This course was taught in a very interactive way, which made it so I actually retained the information.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, I learned the bases of human behavior. I learned why and how people do the things they do. I learned about how both biology and environment affect our behavior. Again, this is a very interactive course. Besides learning the criteria of the course, I also learned how to share my opinion and participate in group discussions. Finally, I learned how to apply my knowledge to current events.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To students taking this course, I would say do not be afraid to ask for help. If anything is unclear to you, the teacher is absolutely more than willing to assist you. Make use of your resources. If you intend on taking the AP exam, I would suggest setting aside a certain amount of time each week to study what you've learned up to the point you are at.
