    Course Overview:

This was my first AP course that I took as a sophomore in highschool. This class will teach you how to efficiently learn at a college level without overwhelming you with an unbearable workload. Piesz does a fabulous job teaching!

    Advice for students:

Take colorful notes, and do your reading ahead of time. Review books off of eBay will also help, but the greatest aide will be the teacher. Don't hesitate to consulting in him for anything, he is eager to help his students.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Piesz is an excellent instructor who takes time and puts in effort to make sure that students fully understand the course material, besides that, this course is perfect for those aspiring to work in the field of psychology or any related fields.

    Course highlights:

I learned the workings of the brain and behavior as well as finding out some personal revelations about myself through introspective analysis. I was able to learn about child development and the importance of successful child rearing as well as the detrimental effects of poor or otherwise abnormal childhood development. This course outlines the definitions of what a mental disorder really is as well as signs and symptoms of several key mental disorders alongside various different treatment methods and paradigms of psychology and psychological research.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to have an open mind and not to stick to your previously set beliefs on what mental disorders are. Leave your stigmas, negative connotations and bad attitudes at the door and allow yourself to empathize with others.
