    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gave us the opportunity to create our own PR campaigns, which I had never previously done. It puts the skills that we learn in Publicity Workshop to use. I also liked how we were able to choose what we wanted to write about--it made me even more passionate about the projects.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the two campaigns we worked on: one was for a cause/nonprofit, and the other was a political campaign. I loved presenting my political campaign, because I was confident in the subject matter after all the time we spent on it. Finally, I learned how to use research that I conducted, such as distributing a survey, and formulate a campaign out of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One of the major projects is a solo project, the other is a group project. If you are not comfortable with public speaking, you may actually want to take this course, because it could help improve your skills. Overall, I would say take this course if you are interested in PR. If not, opt for another major elective.
