    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you enjoy chemistry and performing several labs this is an outstanding course. However, there is a plethora of math involved.

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned the chemical formulas that form naturally and the type of energy when said formula reacts in order to create compounds. You'll be able to work out math quicker and see the world as various compounds and different chemical structure, such as tetrahedral or trigonal by-pyramidal.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never miss a day, you will be lost, this is a fast paced course. Anything new that was learned, you should look up similar problems and practice.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course explores different theories in chemistry in-depth and provides those interested in science an opportunity to study practical, real world problems and get their feet wet in the field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me included learning about kinetics and reaction rates. It's very interesting to know what affects the rate of a reaction and how it impacts living systems.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you need to be able to stay on top of your work and prepare outside of the class as well. You need to study in your free time as the concepts are difficult and in order to achieve your goals, you need to know them.
