    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Statistics is a difficult course period. If you are like me and math is not your subject it can be very stressful and daunting when faced with the subject of statistics. I recommend this course because of the professor. He is always willing to help, does the utmost to make sure you don't just pass but that you learn in the process. He does provide homework however it goes ungraded as it is for your benefit. If you put in the work you will pass.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was coming to class every other day and asking questions that I ran into from the homework last night. Professor Miller would literally go through each question asked and still find a way to make it through the material for that day without rushing. Being able to have a professor fully explain how to answer a question and not feeling rushed, or embarassed for not completely understanding a topic motivates students to complete assignments, ask questions, and practice the material. I learned how to utilize frequency distribution tables, T and Z tables, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely do the homework every night and come to class full of questions! It will benefit you tremendously. Taking notes in class is an absolute must and along with copying his notes exactly make your own notes in the margins of your paper so that when you go over it at home, while you are completing your homework, or studying for exams you do not get lost and confused.
