Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was one of the most interesting courses I took during my entire college career, not to mention my professor was excellent!

    Course highlights:

Although I was somewhat shy when it came to speaking to the entire class, the professor making it a requirement to participate really encouraged me to come out of my shell. It also created dialogue and made the subject even more interesting than it already was.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice students to get to know the professor and be ready to participate because PARTICIPATION IS KEY.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Unlike many other courses that are repetitive you really learn something different. It's what we all thought we would be learning when we signed up for psychology

    Course highlights:

It is very structured, you understand what you are going to learn and there is no second guessing. You learn the criteria of a mental illness and how many they need to fit

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything the teacher gives you and write down similarities and differences

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Honestly the most enjoyable course I had taken due to Dr. Musser being an amazing and fun professor. She was very helpful, and she actually made me enjoy a course that began at 8 in the morning. The way she explained the topics made it so that one could understand the lesson just by the lecture, and have the book as a tool that builds on the lesson.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different types of mental illnesses and their diagnosis criteria. I also learned that the DSM books are basically the Psychology Bibles, and they are what define what exactly is or is not a mental illness.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course I would suggest that students try to participate as often as possible, due to the fact that on random questions she asks, if answered correctly, she rewards students exam points for being tentative to the lesson.
