    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class will satisfy the global learning requirement. However you need to be ready to put in work. Attendance is required because every lecture has a group assignment. Reading is necessary to help with the writing assignments for the class.

    Course highlights:

This course material has covered anything from racial stereotypes, racial tensions and segregation in America, The kung people an anthropology research. Also, the last project which for me was very interesting for me was to come up with my own anthropology research exposé. Every assignment in the class is completed with the help of the professor and the teacher's assistant.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the syllabus, ask questions when in doubt. Reach out to the professor when instructions are not clear.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would Highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to know about different culture groups around the world. The class was very informative when it came to the approach ethnographers took in their studies, various techniques and even showcased good prime examples of Some ethnographic studies like that of Seth Holmes in his book Fresh Fruit Broken Bodies, a study on migrant workers. The class is god for anyone, even if you are not even majoring in Ethnographies like myself. i am still glad to have taken this class.

    Course highlights:

Cultures! I learned about different cultures and the struggles that some people of these cultural backgrounds endured. I learned about the different methods and approaches you could take when completing an ethnographic study. I also learned that there is a much broader world out there. Its true when they say the world is full of limitless knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to pay attention! Be an active student, and practice your active listening skills! I can not stress enough that anyone taking this class should write down everything that is mentioned in class, all of it is important information that will definitely make this class either a pleasant learning experience or a living hell. Without my notes I don't know if i would have made it through this class.
