    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging across the board and I feel the best chance students have to pass is to take the extended course offered in the summer with Prof. Fox. She goes very in-depth with the material, which is later reinforced by her LA Ian.

    Course highlights:

Derivatives are a huge part of this course and require lots of hours per week to learn it forwards and backwards.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

DO YOUR HOMEWORK! It is extremely helpful! Also, stay for the whole class time. Half of the class is taught by Prof. Fox and the other half is taught by her LA Ian. Ian can sometimes be more helpful than Prof. Fox.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking this class with this professor. Although she is a sweet lady, she has poor time management skills and a heavy accent that makes it hard to understand her.

    Course highlights:

I learned in the beginning because I am good at math, but as the course advanced I found it difficult to follow.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a good teacher and a tutor is math is not your strong suit. It is a lot to learn, I would not recommend taking it in a short summer term

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to student who have already taken this course in the pass and have a full understanding of it. The teacher is nice but hard to understand because of her ascent. She will help if anyone needs it though. However, in her class lectures, she doesn't really explain well the problems.

    Course highlights:

What I gained from this course is that no matter who teaches the course, how good or bad they are, if you apply yourself and do what you need to do, you'll be able to pass the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going to take this class, with which ever teacher, always give you full attention and do the work assigned to you no matter if it's graded or not, it will help.
