Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

PItzer was a fun teacher. The course was also very easy to keep up with. Initially, it seemed overwhelming that we would cover three chapters in one week, but one I realized that studying a little before class and paying attention during lecture was important, I did that. I aced the course.

    Course highlights:

How living things work at a cellular and molecular level.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Look at the questions in the textbook after each chapter, and try to answer them. If any one is too difficult, study the concept even if it's just the summary.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course simply because Prof. Gavassa will literally do everything to help you succeed, as well as the LA's doing the same. As long as you take the class seriously, and do the assigned work, its literally impossible to get less than a B.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the group work. The entire class is separated into groups of 5-6. You literally bond with everyone in your group, whether or not you want to. Once you are in your groups, Everything becomes way easier, because you never have to worry about not understanding a topic, because at least one person will at your group.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack off in this course. The course itself is super easy, probably one of the easiest I've taken at FIU, but you have to put in the work. All that's required if doing some weekly homework questions and watching videos, but you have to actually do them to succeed. If you do them, You'll have no problem in the course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

You will learn a lot, even if you are not that interested in the subject. Professor Pitzer makes it very interesting.

    Course highlights:

The most interesting part of this course was genetics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study his powerpoints and you will ace the class!
