This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend that you take this class because you kinda have to take it. but the purpose of the class is still unknown to me. its not a "rea math". the professor himself said that if he wasn't teaching the course, he wouldn't understand it either.
Course highlights:
the main thing I learned in this course is probability. it is confusing at first but once you understand it, you will breeze through the class.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
study as long as you can! even when you think you studied for too long, study some more.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
If You're a Nursing major, this class is highly recommended! It is not extremely difficult but like all math deserves a little TLC. The math lab is a big help for when you are stuck on the class, the tutors are excellent and the professor does a nice job of explaining.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this class for me were studying in the math lab and having study groups in the same class. The math is not to difficult but you will need to practice and learn a lot of formulas. Other than that I loved making flash cards to study and asking for help in the math lab.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
pay attention in class! sit in the front! Do not stop going to math lab and turn everything in on time! As soon as you think you are struggling, don't be afraid to ask for help!
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course with this professor because the course itself isn't that hard. The course was required for my major but it is very helpful if you are going to take statistics I in the future. The professor does an amazing job of teaching this course.
Course highlights:
As I said many of the things you learn hear will be seen again in Statistics so if is a great class to have taken.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Do not be afraid to ask question. The professor is extremely helpful and only wants you to succeed.
