    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For anyone who is looking to gain a better insight on leadership in the business world and how to communicate effectively in a leadership role. The class is essential and offers many real-world scenarios to give greater depth and understanding.

    Course highlights:

Although I'm currently in the course I think the understanding of contingency theory and how and why leaders make the decision that they do, especially in the time of a crisis really helped me understand the complexity of leadership. It also holds, to me, a great value in relation to my career path as I plan on working for a crisis management team post-graduation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, don't skim it. The material can sometimes be difficult to digest but spending quality hours diving into the text makes it easier. As it also provides a tangible reward in the real-world as well.
