    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course turned my mind around and opened my eyes to many things that I wasn't expecting to learn. It made me question my own biases, learn more about current events, and gave me a better understanding of oppression amongst peoples.

    Course highlights:

This course highlights what it is like to teach in a school with children from low-income families. Also an understanding for the differences between teaching white children and children of color.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. Take professor Lovett. Read the chapters before going to class, the entire course is based off of class discussion and opinion, be prepared to speak.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course to take as a dual enrollment class in high school. This course can help you learn about many of your peers background and also to get in touch with your own self.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be learning about multicultural education and the effect that is has on a students ability to learn. Many are unaware of how this could be a breaking point in the future of education.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you have to stay on top of your work. Without staying prompt with your grades and your professor you will find yourself failing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course open my eyes to the challenges a teacher might face when teaching a diverse group.

    Course highlights:

I loved the service learning we had to complete. I learned that no matter a persons background, appearance or resistance, everyone just wants the opportunity to learn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind and be honest during the discussion because that is the only way you will grow and learn come the professor.
