    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend the class if it was your chosen major

    Course highlights:

When I finally figured out how to solve accounting equations on my own

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY. STUDY. STUDY. Do not ever slack with this course. Do the reading and practice problems. Also I recommend a study group or study buddy.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course to anyone who is looking for a great start into learning the fundamentals of what it takes to understand the managerial accounting side of a business. You will learn how to budget your companies assets in order to gain as much wealth as possible with little risk involved. Also, in the beginning you learn about potential investment calculations that tell you whether a company may be profitable in the future and what your return on your investment would be based on how the company is currently performing.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of how to calculate what would my return be if I were to invest my money through bonds or if I would have done it with stocks. You also get to learn about the different positions in a publicly traded company some jobs begin CEO, COO, CFO, Controller, Treasure and Internal auditor which may give you a potential idea of you may possibly be doing either in your company you work for or own. Also, you begin to learn how to record what it cost you in order to make a certain product versus what you will be gaining in return. The best part was learning about how to calculate my return on my investment and how to understand if a company is profitable in the future or not.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would consider that you put in your time and effort into this course because it will give you an advantage in the later future when you open up your business or if you were to work for one. The class is not easy nor is it rocket science you just need to focus in class and understand the material so in the future you can apply it to your everyday life so it will help you improve on your business skills.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it ONLINE with this professor. If you take it in class with any professor, man, good luck :/

    Course highlights:

I learned how difficult and meticulous accounting was.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be for the student to take it online. Honestly, accounting is such a difficult subject. You basically have to teach yourself anyway and get tutoring.
