Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is required for most Early and Elementary Education majors. Dr. Helen Robbins is a strict professor, but she is very knowledgeable in the subject of early literacy and how important it is for young children to learn this. She is also willing to help those who are willing to put in the effort.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be the lesson plans that were written. They were extensive and very specific but it also taught you how important it is to be very specific when it comes to writing lesson plans. I believe that writing lesson plans was the most important skill learned in this course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give would be to always try your best to make it to every class. She explains all assignments in detail in class and she also goes over due dates in class as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for an Early Childhood Development major because it is required and the information that you learn will prepare you for your teaching career.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I learned how to teach children in a way that they can enjoy learning the information that I am teaching them. I also learned how to assess students on their current knowledge and use their test results to see where I can help them to improve.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To do well in this class, you have to study really hard. I would suggest having a good and responsible study partner that takes the class seriously and can help you to stay on track. I would also recommend that you come to every single class to make sure that you get all of the information that you need for upcoming assignments, quizzes, and exams.
