Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor does not use a textbook. She makes slides and tells you the information. There are not tests or quizzes, just the paper. She makes class fun and interesting. She tells you about her job and how it is relevant to research methods. She does make part of the paper a group project but she also asks you to grade your group members and if they are not doing their part they are removed from the group. It is a good research methods class and she offers extra credit at the end.

    Course highlights:

I learned the process of how to conduct a study. I learned all the factors that go into making a study and the process of getting IRB approval. You learn how research methods applies to doctoral studies and jobs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class everyday. There is a lot of information and attendance is counted and may change your grade. Pay attention and take notes. Don' t wait until last minute to do the papers. If you need help ask, the professor is very approachable and she will help you.
