    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class was amazing for an intro class, gives you the basic elements you need to know about the law in the U.S. before entering a career in the law field. My professor is a police chief in Miami so he had a lot of knowledge that he passed on, and was always telling us stories about criminals he had caught or had a hand in catching. This made the class fun but also gave the people looking to be police officers or detectives useful tips.

    Course highlights:

Something the professor always stated n class was that many people believe that what they see on Law and Order or similar t.v. shows is how police wok occurs in real life, which makes it harder to prove people guilty in court without much evidence because the jury believes you can get DNA samples on anything.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to the midterm and finals review because the professor will give you a list of all the questions and answers that will be on the exam.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Artime actually makes the class interesting. Yes the material might some time be boring or too long but he tries his best to make the class laugh and enjoy the time. He's super nice and helps you pass the class. His class is easy and test are not that hard if you actually complete the study guides

    Course highlights:

I took this class to see if this is what i was interested and it did give me a lot of insight and background when it comes to criminal justice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the study guides, they are just like the test.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Saiz is very funny and chill. He respects his students and expects it from others. I learned a lot about the aspects of the criminal justice system and different cases. He is always willing to help you.

    Course highlights:

The textbook is broken into two parts about the criminal justice system. Professor Saiz goes over each chapter in an outline format which really helps prepare for the midterm and final exams. Doing the outlines by hand after every class helps you keep up with the material. The midterm and final are both fairly easy if you study ahead of time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend going to class often because he goes over the important points in each chapter that will likely be on the midterm or final exams. To count for participation, he requires a 5 page paper by the end of the semester regarding any topic related to criminal justice. He also asks you to present one article in class about anything that pertains to criminal justice.
