    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because, although there is a lot of work involved (could be a lot of homework or just a lot of material to study thoroughly), this is a valuable course as it teaches you the application of statistics to real life situations.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the ability to apply various concepts learned in the class in the real world. It also gives you a good grasp of how other math courses are or can be, and if you should pursue more courses in that area.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not underestimate a course, any course. It could mean the difference between a good or at least a passing GPA and a failing one. I thought that for this course I would only need to take notes and only study those notes - a breeze. Prior to the first exam, the professor gave us a glimpse of what we were to expect. Next thing I know it's 3 in the morning and I'm with my little headlamp still only half way the chapters (the exam was based on two chapters). I thought the notes would have been enough but they weren't.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Consistent in her course work, gives extra credit and has excellent study reviews online. Anything covered in class is a definite topic that will be asked on the exam.

    Course highlights:

I legit learned how to read. The questions on her tests are doable but sometimes she gives purposely misleading information to make sure you really know what you are doing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

re-do all the examples covered in class and rewrite notes taken in class too. She kind of goes all over the place on the board and sometimes doesn't finish the examples. Definitely do the suggested review problems from online before going to class.
