    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the class energy was fluent and vibrant. The professor was funny and encouraged the class to discuss material during class time. The professor wanted to hear other views of the material and really stressed in-class participation.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include being able to think creatively. In the class, there were many times when I had to imply certain things based on facts that were presented and times where I had to create my own scenarios instead of just using the ones given to me. That is something that I feel that in essential to college students; being able to go beyond what the textbook says.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There were no quizzes. Instead, he assigned take home papers and in class writing assignments. He was very thorough in his instructions regarding essays and writing topics. If anyone had questions, he was very eager to help out and to make sure that they are fully prepared to write their essay. He would dedicate a class before the due date to discuss any last questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me get more into Philosophy. It taught me how to choose what I read and how to write better. It also explores the way we think with thought experiments.

    Course highlights:

The thought experiments we did, from proving if the desk was really in the room to how we would divide food if we were on an island. I learned that there is so much more to philosophy and human kind there is to our every day life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything the professor tell you to. The discussions that come up in class about the reading are very interesting. And also reading helps a lot when you have writing assignments, this way you do not have to catch up reading later.
