    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course goes through the impact of digital media in our society. We study how it's used in the news, media, and our personal lives.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how advanced technology is today, how much people use and are affected by digital media, and how copyright laws to protect digital media work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up with the discussions every week! They're super easy (you just have to post a link to an article) but it's easy to forget every once and a while.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class focused on every aspect of digital media, from it's beneficial uses and even negative effects of the complex world of the internet we are all so obsessed with.

    Course highlights:

It was interesting to study how people become possessed by their technological possessions and the irony of people disconnecting themselves from the real world they more they try to connect with social media.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Even if it's not part of your major, it is still a class worth taking because it's incredibly relatable to anyone who uses social media and it's interesting to analyze how it has became such an influential part of our lives.
