    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Albrecht is passionate about this topic and uses visual aids such as videos in conjunction with his lecture to create a more engaging environment for students. Additionally, he has a wealth of experience and is a humorous and fair professor.

    Course highlights:

My favorite aspect of the course was when we got to watch a video depicting mental health practices from the early 1900's. It was fascinating to learn that lobotomies were routinely practiced to treat even minor complaints and to compare that to how far we've come as a science.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, ask questions, read the book, and really think about what is being taught.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course contains very interesting material of study, but it is also a bit dense and sometimes difficult to keep track of. It involves the study of psychological disorders and behaviors, and although fascinating, it also requires a lot of research.

    Course highlights:

I learned about human behaviors and disorders. Also, I learned that the mind is very complicated and behavioral patterns are not always predictable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read and learn many different types of disorders and/or illnesses.
