Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very interesting because it is super applicable to everyone's life. By exploring different forms of therapy, you learn skills that you realize you can use in your own life. The professor, Merceydes Morassi, makes the class even better with her sense of humor and way of lecturing. Overall, it is a very good course with an awesome professor!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were very personal for me. I am normally a very anxious person and suffer from panic attacks from time to time, so learning the ways in which a therapist would treat me helped me apply some of those concepts to my life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For other students taking this course my advice would be to go to class. Although attendance isn't mandatory, she gives online quizzes once a week and the lectures help you do well on them. You can go off the book and have a B in the class or you can go, pay attention to her lectures, and pass with a very high A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was the most interesting and challenging course I have take yet. The professor, however, had organized the schedule in a manner that the work did not seem overwelming and the class was not only informative but enjoyable. Who would guess I would look foward to a Saturday morning class?

    Course highlights:

The coourse reviewd the ethics to psychotherapy and the different theories used in practice. This course was helpful in helping me understand how each therapist develops their own style for their practices, and how these techniques can be applied when working with the clients to tackle their problems in the best manner possible.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! If you're willing to put the work you will have a fantastic time! The professor will give you so much knowledge you will be astonished! You will become very familiar with each theory in psychology and you will learn the right forms of therapy and the true goals of therapy.
