    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I was in honors chemistry and this class went into depth on so many things which I enjoyed. I loved all the hands-on lab work we did. We learned how reactions worked by failing. I believe you learn better if you make a mistake. I personally am a hands on learner so this class definitely was for me. Any time I had a question our class would figure out different ways to break the material down for all different types of learners which benefited everyone.

    Course highlights:

I learned about chemical reactions, the periodic table, and not only how particles move the way that they do but why. We learned about why everything happened, we weren't just given information to regurgitate we had to teach our class mates and work as a so called family to tackles tasks. It was a very interactive hands on class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the work assigned, not only because sometimes it counts for a grade but mainly because practice makes perfect and to completely understand the information the best way to go about it is practice. Being given all different scenarios and figuring them out even when it seems impossible. At times it will get tough and you won't want to keep going but in the end it'll be worth it, don't fall behind though or it'll be very difficult to catch up. Ask as many questions that come to your head, even if you get embarrassed by it because when you're at home working on your assignment the teacher isn't there to guide you.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I don't recommend this class although he is a very nice/funny guy and has passion for teaching chemistry. He isn't the best at it.

    Course highlights:

The labs we did were very interesting and fun. But I'm a hands on type of person so that could also be it. I learned everything from chemical reactions to, basically doing math charts that were sort of linked with chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going to go into this course. Make sure you have a passion for science.
