Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an enjoyable class that not only engages you daily but also challenges you to go out of your comfort zone.

    Course highlights:

I will always remember to research both sides of a debate thoroughly and respect others opinions even if I do not agree. I learned general respect for everyone and enhanced my writing and debating skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously and go into it with an open mind. You will get as much out of it as you put into it. There is a huge opportunity to learn a lot and gain understanding of others from this class if you take it seriously.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great introductory course to ethics and different schools of philosophy, but if those aren't topics you have any interest in you may find yourself struggling.

    Course highlights:

We covered the moral philosophies of various schools of thought, using texts by Nietzche, Socrates, Mills and a few others, and discussed them at length during class periods.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The class isn't super heavy on outside assignments, but you will have to do a lot of reading on your own- the texts aren't the easiest to understand in some cases, so it may take some time to get through. There were only two large assignments, both five-page essays, but they accounted for most of my final grade so blowing them off would be a mistake.
