    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for critical thinking problems that go exceed expectations in place with the curriculum, to learn problem solving skills in group and independent study. Homework is not given as an assignment to be graded, but as a way to review and keep information fresh. You will not be graded for your homework and daily work directly, but the effort that is put into the assignment may determine the grade you revive on a test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course due to it being an introductory course to college calculus and the implications it will have on your college career. While studying it in high school I have allowed myself to achieve a level of success in a college class that other students may lack entering college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the specific course were the people around me and the teacher's methodology of teaching. Mr. Burg has a profound sense of humor regarding AP Calculus and adds familiar topics to apply to real life. Along with that the students that I was surrounded with were supportive and helped gain a sense of teamwork as many assignments were with a partner or even group projects so to speak.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are interested in this course, I would first recommend preparing yourself for the class by applying specific real world functions of calculus to your life. You may not know any topics within however using this as a reference will make the experience more enjoyable and assist in the work ethic needed to take the AP Exam in the spring.
