Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Honestly, I initially was not interested in taking this class, but I am so glad I did. It has helped me so much with preparing for college and applying for scholarships.

    Course highlights:

I have really learned some excellent writing skills. I learned how to put together my activities resume to submit with my college applications and our college essays were actually an assignment that was graded. I was grateful for that, because then I knew I was submitting an excellent essay. Its not all about college though. We are reading some really good novels, and have some great, intelligent conversations about what we are reading and relate them to real life situations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you need to stay very organized. We have so many different things going on whether it be writing assignments, reading assignments, or actual college prep assignments. Keeping up on the work and staying organized is key!

    Hours per week:

I recommend keeping an open mind and setting aside extra time for reading to enhance literary understanding.
