Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Hurta teaches in a great way to help make learning fun and easy. She teaches us in a way we can understand as teenagers. She also incorporates a lot of fun projects and movies in her class.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was learning about the revolutionary war and steps to the civil war. Both the revolutionary war and civil war chapters had a video project that we did in groups. These projects were my favorite because it helped me comprehend and remember what we were learning from actually making a video about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to pay attention in class and take good notes. Also study your notes before the tests and ask the teacher if you don't understand something.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I love this course! It helped me not only learn about our nation's history but helped me to structure my work habits and to take responsibilities of my actions. Mrs. Hurta is an amazing teacher. She is understanding and the fact that she loves her job allows her students to love what she is teaching.

    Course highlights:

I gained structured work habits and responsibility. Mrs. Hurta does give a lot of work but it is for a reason. Not only is her work to help learn the subject, but to help students follow deadlines, study, better work habits, and take responsibility for their actions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course. If it isn't for the subject, take it for teacher. Mrs. Hurta helps students understand the material, and helps them structure their work and study habits. In US History 1, students will learn how to learn the proper way and will use the skills acquired in her class, on all other courses taken throughout high school.
