    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course specifically will Professor Allan Marcil. Although this course contained a lot of writing, the topics were not your typical college essay topics. Professor Marcil provided research topics that made you truly think. The topics he chose not only assisted in learning about the topic, but also about myself as well. The writing really helped me to better understand myself and the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was that I truly began to learn who I was as a person. Some of the topics that Professor Marcil chose required deep thinking. It wasn't just a research class about public topics, it was a research class where I began to study and learn about myself. This class really helped me understand what I truly wanted to do in life. I feel as though Professor Marcil is just an amazing mentor as well as a professor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Expect a ton of writing. It is a research class, so a lot of extra time is required for reading and research, as well as writing. The time frame between due dates is very short. About a paper per week. Very interesting, but also very time consuming. Make sure to set aside a few hours every day for this course.
