    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it offers college credit for history and helps to prepare you for the design of college classes. In addition to this though, I personally thought the class was very interesting and covered many different areas of history. I think that this class is challenging, but can be rewarding too.

    Course highlights:

I learned a large variety of facts about many different cultures and periods of time. I learned about early inhabitants of America and other areas of the world as well as European history like the plague outbreak and the French Revolution. In addition, the course went over multiple Chinese dynasties and the history of the Mongols. I also think that this course is helpful for learning how to efficiently write a timed essay. This course also familiarizes you with AP styled multiple choice questions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To help yourself succeed during this course, I think that studying with at least one other person is helpful. I think you will be able to comprehend and remember more if you explain the different chapters and discuss them with others. Also, writing outlines for the chapters is helpful to learn the main ideas of the chapters. This will be helpful with the multiple choice tests.
