Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gave me the opportunity to take higher level classes in high school. Also this course helped me prepare myself for Algebra 2, a course I thought was going to be very hard , but wasn't because this course prepared me for it.

    Course highlights:

While taking this course, I not only learned new math skills and techniques, but also how to make a relationship with the teacher. Whenever I needed help, because this was a new course for me, my teacher was always there for me to help me through whatever problem I needed help with.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't ne afraid to ask the teacher for help because that is what they're there for. Also take time to practice problems you don't understand because the more you practice the better you get.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The, reason why I recommend this class, is because of the fact that you obtain so much knowledge from the Class. And its beneficial especially in Real Life.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to calculate problems with more ease. And many strategies' that I learned until this day can be used in almost every Math Course I've taken I enjoyed it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn, the best you can. Just because other's are at a faster pace doesn't mean your Mind will inherit Information the exact same ways as your other Peers do.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend AP calculus to everyone possible because it is one of the few courses I have taken that teaches you how to think. Calculus forces you to think about what you are doing; there is no thoughtless repetition.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights were the calculus carols and series. I personally loved that I learned how to transform an infinite series into pi or e. The coolest thing through was a the end where we began to do some work from IB math HL, and that was beyond thought provoking. We really had to think and just manipulate the problem until we saw a window to the solution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you have to try that is all. Mr. Warenfeltz is so amazing that all you have to do is show up; if you are having trouble in class just go in after or before school and he will guide you through the problems.
