This class was tough.
It's really great for getting your foot into government, but the courseload is at times overwhelming. Though, taking it as a sophomore, you are going to appreciate the amount of work if you take APUSH because this class really prepares you for that. (Though you don't really cover any of the same concepts.)
I very directly understand the system of government that we are under. The highlights definitely had to be learning about the court cases and going through why they were important because I continued using those same cases in my Junior year with Mrs. Dagnan. Being able to have those connections is essential.

My favorite method of studying in this class was using flashcards for most quizes or taking my notes from reading chapters and creating an outline for the chapters. If you're prepared to put the work in, this course is definitely one to consider and looks good on applications.
