    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is not the easiest class in the world , but it is very beneficial. It allows students to improve writing, analyzing, and critical thinking skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the class discussions and projects. They helped me to become more comfortable speaking to the class and expressing my opinions and ideas.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Write the essays as soon as possible. Always have a teacher edit your essays and have them all typed up long before the due date as they take longer than you think.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class helped prepare me for the workload I will expect in college. My essay writing skills have improved after the course. I learned the keys of strong essays as well as vocabulary words to demonstrate my impressive vocabulary.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course was the seminar. At the end of the year, you create an hour-long seminar that displays the subject that you chose to research. You pick your own topic with very few restrictions, so there are thousands of options to choose from. The seminar also helped me to speak in front of my class without nerves.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Write the weekly essays as soon as you find out the topic. Also, begin typing and editing your essays long before the quarter is over. Many people wait until the day before the essays are due to edit them and then they do not receive very good grades.
