    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course, while being stressful, has opened my mind up to many different things that I had never noticed before when reading. I see many things now that I would have never noticed before in literature.

    Course highlights:

This course has taught me that what we assume is more often than not going to be wrong. Ms.Whalen had taught each student to find the hidden meanings behind each and every sentence we read and every color we see.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ms.whalen may seem intimidating at times, but she is a very compassionate person so anytime you have a problem don't hesitate to ask her after class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Helpful teacher with a different and original way of teaching the English language. Interesting and involved teacher who helps students who seek help.

    Course highlights:

After school essay revising sessions for students who stay after. Helpful course which strengthens the students understanding of the English language.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class and enjoy it, but seek help if you need it. The after school revising sessions are helpful.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you can take strong sarcasm and harsh criticism towards your essays and writing style, in order to improve it.

    Course highlights:

I have learned more about the world around me such as media, advertisements, nature, and the underlying meaning of articles, novels, and stories.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice a student to not take this course unless they are more of a creative writer and can take criticism on their essays and improve their writing, that is the only way to succeed in this course. Also must be able to add and speak in classroom discussions
