Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me in my first semester of college. I was prepared for college english and more eased into the course there.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to improve writing and see different views of how perspective can change how a sentence or phrase is read.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make a folder or file system to organize homework and assignments. Always keep your work for reference. Ask many questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great atmosphere to be in. If you like reading and analyzing, this is a course for you. Every kid is in the class for a reason, you might share the same tastes in books, or somebody might share the same penetrating insight you have. Everybody pulls the string.

    Course highlights:

I love the discussion of poetry. Many people can agree that poetry can be very difficult to understand, let alone the literary techniques that are used. I think our countless reading and analyzing of poems sharpens our mind.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a passion for reading and writing. You need to think outside the box. The point is you can't be okay with passing work. This course can make you a master in the art of Literature. You need to trust yourself and invest in yourself, and the outcome is something special.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm only just beginning my AP English experience, but so far it is my favorite class! It's very independent and has a lot to offer.

So far I have enjoyed learning how to analyze poetry. Poetry has never been a strongsuit for myself, but I know that as the year goes on, I will be able to analyze poetry much better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class if you are even considering it! Theres no reason not to! You will have a greater knowledge of literature after.
