Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
PreCalculus was a challenging but certainly not impossible math course that I took during my junior year of high school. This class taught me much of what I needed to know before I took calculus and provided a challenge for me which is an important part of education to me.
Course highlights:
Much of what I learned in precalculus included trigonometry, advanced algebra and limits. Limits are the most important aspect of precalculus because it sets students up for calculus better than every other part of the class did.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would advise taking this course. For success in this class, simply listening in class and completing the daily assignments will set each student up to excel in precalculus. This course provided me with an excellent education in this subject and was enjoyable at the same time.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
Mrs.Weerstra is a wonderful teacher and she really helped me understand the information. She explains things in a way that helped me to see the big picture.
Course highlights:
The basics I learned in precalculus helped me a lot in AP Calculus. I learned basic algebra schools with an emphasis on factoring.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Do the homework. You can get by without doing work, but that isn't going to help you in the long run.
