    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly reccomend this class. Although the rhetoric, comprehension, and analysis may become tiresome, this class has greatly improved my understanding of various novels and English as a whole.

    Course highlights:

Through this course i was able to dive into the world of Frankenstein and deeply understand the tragety of both parties and ask "who is really the momster?". I was able to peek into the lives of two murderers in the novel "in cold blood" and see heartless people behave like an average person would, feeling an odd bond with characters that have committed unforgivable acts against others. This class has you rethinking what is considered right or wrong, what the idea of normal is, and that people arent as black and white in personality as they seem.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you have an essay to write and the teacher gives you a month to complete it, stop telling yourself that you'll finish it later. If you keep using the word "later", it will mean staying until or even past midnight on due day. My class and I have been known to have this habbit all through the year, and ot created lots of unnecessary stress for us all. Additionally, finish reading assignments on time. Forgetting to read those ten chapters will not fare teachers well, so be warned!
