    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I found this course to be very difficult. Math always came easy to me until Pre-Calculus. Unlike other math subjects, I had a hard time grasping some of the concepts, which in turn made the lessons difficult for me.

    Course highlights:

I learned about limits, functions, trig functions, matrices, and linear and exponential regressions.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend staying after with the teacher if you ever have any difficulties. Also, I would get a partner or "study buddy" in the class so you could work through problems and lessons that you don't understand together.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Since SUNY schools require some math credits, it's great to get a head start, especially beginning in Junior Year of high school. It expands on the concepts of Trigonometry and Algebra II and pushes students.

    Course highlights:

The course expanded on the concepts of Trigonometry and Algebra II, which served as a good introduction to the course. There were many topics that could be useful in life, although many concepts were extremely confusing since I had such a hard time grasping the meaning of the information and how the ideas were supposed to work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't use any online sources to get the answers for homework. I didn't, and I saw that a had a much better grasp on the material than students who just copied answers without working through the problems. Go to Mrs. Regdos for questions if you need help

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like being apart of an environment where the teacher helps me understand what is going on in the classroom. They worry more about me as an individual rather than a number on a piece of paper.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed being able to work with other students on various math problems. I learned how to be independent as well as be a team player while learning math. I found myself as an ind.ividual

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say be aware of the work load and be a diligent student. Working towards your goals should be somewhat challenging, but if you are not ready to be challenged don't take this class.
