    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking this course because the conversations weren't as heavy of a focus on English but more worldly. The atmosphere was open for all forms of discussion making it the perfect place to feel comfortable in high school when the rest of your life was stressful.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was going to meet with an author and professor at Princeton University. From this experience I learned skills in writing and how essays don't have to be clear cut structures but more free formed, discussion-type pieces of writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To all students considering this course, I say to just do it. No one I know has ever regretted taking this class since it is such a breath of fresh air sandwiched between the nervous breaths of high school.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this class to anyone with an interest in writing.

    Course highlights:

We did a lot of skills-based prep for the AP exam, such as multiple choice questions and learning how to write a persuasive, rhetorical analysis and synthesis essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're expecting to read a lot of literature, this is not the class for you. If you want to learn more about writing skills and rhetoric, definitely consider this class. Even if you're not interested in essay-writing, I'd still recommend the course. The writing skills you gain in this class will benefit you in all other subjects you take.
