    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class personally helped me understand myself more as a person. While in this class I learned so much about my culture that I don't think I would've learned at all if not given specific assignments. I also felt confident and believed I had an important voice and opinion in this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class would be the Friday's. Every Friday we discussed current events that the students felt were important. I also took this class during the election period so we discussed that a lot. I learned lots about politics as well as my own personal history. I learned about American History from a different perspective other than the average "white man."

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class serious and get interested into what is going on around you.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this class. Although it's African American Studies I think it should be required for every student. This teaches you about history that's untold in schools. It teaches you more than what the "white man" wants you to hear. It teaches you what they won't put in history books.

    Course highlights:

Everything about this course was amazing. I learned about so much black history I never knew. It was about more than the basic names we hear such as Martin Luther King Jr., Frederick Douglas, Malcolm X and Rosa Parks. I learned more about untold slave stories. I learned about my history while in this class. I learned about several impactful movements and so much more. This will be a class that I will never forget.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the class with an open mind. You will learn so much more.
