    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This reason I chose three stars is because the course is difficult. If you cannot work at a quick pace, you will struggle. Unless you take the extra time out to come before or after school to get extra help. Mrs. Lacasse is filled with an abundance of knowledge and her work history is stellar. Although the course is tough, with a little motivation to succeed you'll pass this course easily.

    Course highlights:

One of the main highlights of this course was around Christmas time. To learn the periodic table in a different, less stressful way Mrs. Lacasse gave out a project. The project was to pick an element of the table, and make a unique Chemistry Christmas ornament. She bought a small tree for the classroom and hung each ornament on the tree. It was the most memorable way for me, and was also super fun.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stick to it. It seems really easy in the beginning, but then again every course is easy in the beginning. It will get tough, but like I said before. Mrs. Lacasse is more than happy to help any struggling student. As long as you show the want to learn and pass her class. She's a tough cookie, but she's an amazing teacher. Take good notes, and pay attention in class. On review day ask as many questions as possible, and always come for help on topics that are confusing to you.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

College prep level of high school chemistry. It was different for me there's a lot of experiments and math involved. I would recommend if you like science experiments and algebra math because it is interesting and we get to make our own labs and lab reports.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the math that was involved. Learning how to balance equations and learning the formula weights of ions. Also learning how to convert a substance from moles to mass.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you refresh yourself on your algebra skills. Also make sure you know some of the period table elements. Also there will be a lot of studying involved so don't get lazy about studying it is very important!!
