Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This subject itself was immensely interesting. However, this teacher seemed to know how to take the fun out of learning. Instead of having a double period to finish and take time on learning , we had one period so she could fit more classes in her schedule and get paid more. This class did not help me learn , because most of The time we just read text from a book and did not do much visual learning .

    Course highlights:

I really did not learn much. Most of the learning was done through reading a textbook which is not a useful tool in my case because that is not how I learn new information.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're good at reading information from a textbook and just knowing it then you'll be good in this course. If not, I recommend not taking it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, because it taught me things that everyone should know for their futures. I knew nothing about the human body before taking this course. I did not know how the individual body parts worked, or why each one is important in its own way. I learned more in this class than I have in any other one I have taken in my high school career.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me would be when we dissected a cat to better understand anatomy, and also when we took a field trip to the cadaver lab. By dissecting the cat, I learned what the individual body parts truly looked like which helped me to envision the human body processes. When we went to the cadaver lab, I got to witness a real-life human brain. This experience was truly amazing and hard to describe. Seeing and touching a real human brain opened my eyes to how complicated and fascinating the human body is.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course BE SURE TO STUDY. I would have never survived this class if I would not have studied every single day after school. It takes a lot of patience and brain capacity, but trust me, it is worth it.
