    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She helped me with my college essays showing me a site that had accepted but odd essays. Proving that you can write about unique things, which can make you more admirable for the college.

    Course highlights:

She taught me how to read at a higher level, because in this generation seniors are reading 8th grade level books. This helps me to further decipher those internet sites you can never understand, or even shakespeare plays.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Completely read the books, word for word. Also, write notes so when it comes to the quiz you have something to look back on to help you remember that portion of the book .

    | Would not recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She only really cared about teaching her beliefs rather than teaching the importance of what English Is about. She was a really nice teacher, however, I wish that she would have taught us a little more.

    Course highlights:

We read books such as: The Glass Castle and Othello. We had a bunch of really creative projects, but some were way to much to handle in such a short amount of time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is going to be a lot of reading, so you should be some what prepared when heading into college. You should also expect a lot of random projects and middle of the week due dates.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to everyone. If you don't like writing, I would recommend that you come into this course with an open mind. Take me for example, I completely hated writing and the first time I had Mrs. Mellwig sadly I let her know that. Now I enjoy writing, it doesn't seem like such a burden. The paper and pencil, is the podium and my microphone. And I can say anything I feel strongly about. Fortunately Mrs. Mellwig taught me that.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, everything was my highlight in this class. She makes every part of the course enjoyable and worthwhile. She does assign big projects but they all have greater meanings behind them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just have fun with it. This class doesn't really force you to write about something you're not passionate about. Be open-minded and work hard. You'll pass and enjoy writing, or maybe have a different kind of view on English class.
